TRANSFER GAMES FROM PC TO PS3 VIA WI-FI

1. Download PS3-FTP-Server.pkg (Google it) and install onto your PS3
2. Download and install FileZilla FTP (or your favorite FTP program) onto your PC.
3. Follow the READ ME instruction file for PS3-FTP-Server for configuring the IP, port, and login credential.

(Note: For FileZilla, I did not need to change any settings, I just entered IP, port, username, any password, and hit simply hit connect.)

4. Once connected, you will see the directory structures of the PS3. Simply go to: /dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ IF YOR FILEMANAGER IS GIA AND IF ITS NOT THEN COPY TO :/dev_hdd0/game/GAMES/

(Note: "/dev_hdd0 is the hard drive", "LAUN12345" is the Backup Manager program, and "GAMEZ" is where your downloaded games go into, yeah with a "Z" not "S".)

(Note: Games that you download from the Internet may not have the correct Title ID. You can use PS3SFOEdit to open the PARAM.SFO found in the folder of your downloaded PS3 games. This will reveal the Title ID of the game.

Or do a Google Search for the game's SAVE DATA and the SAVE DATA folder name is usually the Title ID of the game, too.)

5. Use the left side of the FileZilla program to drag and drop your downloaded PS3 game to the right side, into the /dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ directory.

6. Wait until the transfer is done. May take hours but will be worth it.

7. You may need to change the Permission of the folder belonging to the PS3 game that you just transferred over. To do so, right-click on the the folder that you just uploaded, choose "File Permissions" and change the "numeric value" to either 700 or 707. I think you ONLY need to do it for the main folder.

(Note: You can also use the steps above to transfer games from your PS3 hard drive to your PC)

connect NTFS hard drive to PS3

To transfer files off an NTFS formatted USB HDD, here are the steps:
Connect your USB HDD to your PC, Go to Device manager, Click on Disk drives, Right click on your external HDD and go to properties. Click the "Details" button. From here you have to choose "PARENT" to get it's Vendor id and Device id.
    EXAMPLE 1: USB\VID_152D&PID_2329\149B801081FF. So here the VID/VendorID= "152d" AND PID/productID= "2329"
EXAMPLE 2:Your CFG should look like this (CFG file is the USB.CFG file that comes with the download of Multiman)
    0x13fd:0x1240:1
    0x152d:0x2329:v
V= Volume number. So it depends on how many partitions you have on your external HDD.
    I have 1 so mine is :
    0x13fd:0x1240:1
    0x152d:0x2329:1
Save the CFG file and copy it to a USB stick. Plug it in your PS3. Open MM's File manager and Copy USB.cfg to /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR (like the process you did to copy your game). Now to get the drive detected on the PS3, plug the USB HDD, press Start+Triangle button to load the NTFS driver. You drive should now be listed in File Manager. Note: You can not play games directly via an NTFS drive, but you can copy them to the internal drive using MM's File manager.
Installing USB.CFG on your ps3.
after youve put the thumb drive into your ps3, start multiman.
    go to the file manager.
go to hdd0/game/blus80608/usrdir on one side, and go to your usb000/USB.CFG on the other side.
highlight the "USB.CFG" file and press O to copy it into the hdd0/game/blus80608/USRDIR directory.
you have successfully installed the USB.CFG file. now lets restart the ps3 and open multiman again and see if it worked.
Enabling NTFS support in MultiMAN.
Press start + triangle and it will rescan the drives and see the games on the ntfs side of the hdd. (note this will disable the FAT32 side of the hdd, not to worry tho because you can switch back and forth by pressing start + triangle

PS3 EBOOT FIX FOR HIGHER FIRMWARE GAMES TO RUN ON FIRMWARE

This allows you to run games that need a 3.56 firmware to run on your 3.55 CFW.

This will not work on 3.60 games like Portal 2, you need the 3.60 keys and they have not been released yet.
This program allows you to also make pkg files so you can run PS3 games right from the XMB like a PSN game.

What you will need:
1) A PS3 on CFW 3.55
2) A Backup of a Game that will not Run on 3.55
3) This file, Muliman EBOOT_FIX

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D5CRSK8K
You also need to modify the games PARAM.SFO so that reads 3.55
You can do this with PARAM editor or do it the easy way and use Multiman backup manger and it will do it automatically for you
